Delicious Christmas cocktails. From icy blue Jack Frost cocktails to toasted marshmallows floating atop a creamy beverage, we’ve got some great ideas whether you’re hosting or attending this season. Add a dash of holiday cheer with your favorite liquors and get ready to get cozy by the fire with these libations.

Christmas Sangria

[row] [column md="6"] We love a good sangria year-round, so when we found a way to put a Christmas twist to it, we had to include this as a holiday favorite. [/column] [column md="6"] Total Time: 10 minutes Serves: 8-10 guests [/column] [/row][row] [column md="6"] Ingredients:
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle white wine
  • 1 (12 oz) ginger beer, plus more for topping (if desired)
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 3 pears, sliced
  • 3 oranges, sliced
  • arils from 1 pomegranate
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • cinnamon sugar, for the rims of your glasses (optional)

  1. Find yourself a large pitcher and combine all the ingredients, except for the ginger beer. Save a few pieces of pears, oranges, and pomegranate for garnish later.
  2. Place pitcher in the fridge until it’s nice and chilled.
  3. Rim your cocktail glasses with cinnamon sugar.
  4. Pour your sangria over ice. Add the ginger beer before serving to ensure maximum bubbliness.
  5. Garnish with the leftover fruit pieces, and clink away!

Gingerbread Eggnog White Russian

[row] [column md="6"] That’s right, it’s eggnog, a White Russian, and gingerbread, ALL IN ONE. This sweet-and-spicy cocktail will make your guests forget all about their gingerbread house fails.   • ½ tsp cinnamon for rimming glasses
  • 2 tsp sugar for rimming glasses
  • 4 oz eggnog
  • 4 oz vodka
  • 4 oz Kahlua
  • 3 tsp molasses
  • ⅛ tsp ginger
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Molasses drizzle for topping

  1. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and pour onto a plate. Wet the rims of each glass and dip into the delicious cinnamon-sugar concoction.
  2. Combine the eggnog, vodka, Kahlua, molasses, and ginger in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake, pour, and top with as much whipped cream and molasses drizzle as you desire.

The North Pole Cocktail

  • 4 oz vodka
  • 2 oz Kahlúa (or more to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tsp molasses
  • 1/8 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • Whipped cream, candy canes, and gingerbread cookies, for serving (optional)

  1. With your handy cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, Kahlua, chocolate syrup, vanilla, molasses, and ginger. Shake well.
  2. Strain into 4 glasses, and top off each glass with heavy cream.
  3. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream, and add candy canes and gingerbread cookies as desired.

Jack Frost Cocktail

  • Light corn syrup for rimming glasses
  • Coconut flakes for rimming glasses
  • 8 cups ice (more or less depending on desired consistency)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup Blue Curaçao
  • ½ cup vodka or light rum
  • ½ cup cream of coconut

  1. Rim the glasses with a thin layer of corn syrup. Dip into coconut flakes.
  2. Using a blender, add ice, pineapple juice, Blue Curaçao, vodka, and cream of coconut until it’s at your desired consistency. Serve immediately.

Campfire Cocktail

  • 1 marshmallow
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 tbsp graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 2 oz Baileys
  • 2 oz 2% milk
  • Ice

  1. Place marshmallow in a small pan over medium heat for approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Toast until browned.
  2. Rim your glass with chocolate sauce, and dip immediately into graham cracker crumbs.
  3. Combine vodka and Baileys in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until freezing cold.
  4. Pour liquor mixture over 2 to 3 cubes of ice. Top off with the milk and your toasted marshmallow, and sip away!
