Hair rebounding and thermal reconditioning are the same thing . Japanese hair straightening is almost the same thing except that not all methods come from Japan so technically that makes it slightly different. The hair that is straightened stays straight until it is cut off. Most of my clients only take 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 hours although some people can take longer. My clients’ hair stays healthy, shiny and soft. Done correctly I don’t consider that their hair gets damaged. If I think it is ‘iffy’, I just won’t perform the service. I’ve been doing this since 2005.
