Hi Mike! No such thing as a dumb question ;) On the bottom of LUNA fofo, there are two screws holding a white, flat panel in place. Remove those screws and the white panel, then you can replace the batteries before putting everything back into place. There are also illustrated, step-by-step instructions for this located on the packaging inlay under the device if you need.
