Hi Tammy, The UFO 2 is a device that uses T-Sonic facial massaging, full-spectrum LED light therapy, upgraded tech as well as faster heating and cooling options and optimized app-led treatments. Therefore it has the same heating and cooling temperatures as the UFO but with the added benefit of changing the heating in the settings to your preference when in manual mode.

How do I access the yellow light on my ufo2 please?
I have used the masks that have the activated red/green/ blue light but not found the one for yellow yet.

Hi Sarah, You can access this in the manual mode of your UFO 2 via the App. Please select the little cog symbol next to your device on the App and you can achieve it there.

However, you can customise your treatments via the settings in the FOREO For You App. We advise you to always be careful when experimenting, especially with something as delicate and individual as your skin. Be especially careful while using Thermo-therapy. Using it directly on the skin might cause unwanted stress to your skin. Additionally, some skincare products might contain heat-reactive ingredients so make sure you double-check the ingredient list in your products before indulging in Thermo-therapy. And always remember to treat your skin with love and attention, not aggression. We hope this helps! However, the good news is that all Masks are available for both UFO and UFO 2. Is it safe to use the devices close to the eyes? Do they require any special kind of glasses to protect the eyes?

Hi Reet, we would not recommend the UFO device to be used over the eye area as this may cause discomfort.

Can you just use the light without heat on bare skin ? As I’m deciding which to buy and the reason I would buy the 2 is because of the additional light therapy . If it can’t be used on its own it’s only the faster time of heating and cooling that’s different and the additional number of light therapy available based on what I’ve read compared with the UFO original . Can you please confirm . Also which masks use the extra light therapy the new UFO 2 has . Also Will the caviar , gold treatment mask be available in Australia? Thank you
