Review Roundup: FOREO ISSA Sonic Electric Toothbrush

FOREO ISSA product reviews
Curious about the world's most unique electric toothbrush? Read some of the most useful reviews of ISSA to help you decide if it's right for you! When FOREO came up with its first non skincare device in 2014, we knew that we were creating the most unique electric toothbrush that the world had ever seen, and yet we are still overwhelmed by the positive reviews of ISSA that let us see exactly how big a difference our revolutionary device has made in people’s lives.  Below, we share some of the most useful reviews of ISSA to help you decide if ISSA is the best electric toothbrush for you!

“…a breakthrough in battery-operated toothbrushes.”

“The ISSA Toothbrush by Foreo is a breakthrough in battery-operated toothbrushes," says Gregg Lituchy, a dentist at Lowenberg, Lituchy & Kantor in New York City. Instead of the usual rotating bristle brush, the ISSA uses a pulsing silicone brush that the company claims is 35 times more hygienic than standard bristles. The head needs to be replaced just once a year and the charge lasts about 6 months.

“Way more durable than that of standard electric ones, while still being compact, lightweight and easy to take with you when you travel.”

Unlike other things that try to improve on what’s already out there, The ISSA has been designed from the ground up. The entire concept for the brush was thought up from scratch, forgetting anything that describes electric toothbrushes as we know them today. The only thing that it shares with its electric toothbrush cousin is the shape. Oh, and the bi-directional brush bristle design let’s you clean between your teeth more efficiently, which is always a good thing (especially if you don’t floss as often as you should). The bristles are also longer and wider than normal so they cover more surface area with each stroke.

“This product has really been a game changer for me.”

When I had the opportunity to try out the ISSA by FOREO Toothbrush, I was super excited because I am your classic example of someone who has extremely sensitive teeth and gums. I also absolutely adore that pouch it comes with. It’s great for traveling with your toothbrush and also to keep it hygienic when it’s not in use. Now I don’t have to stick my toothbrush in plastic bags anymore when traveling! It’s very gentle and yet it cleans my teeth well. Once you get used to the pulsations and the feeling of having gentle silicone bristles clean your teeth, you won’t want to go back. My dentist has confirmed continued fabulous dental health and hygiene, so I know this toothbrush is working!

“ISSA brush can clean the tooth surface without creating unnecessary friction and extra pressure to the gum area.”

At first glance, it looks like a cool gadget from the future. The shape and size of the product is ergonomic, it fits perfectly in hand and easy to grip & operate. Is it pricey?-YES. Is it Fancy?-YES….. So is going to a dentist and have dental works (due to poor oral health and hygiene, of course). If you consider the “health” factor of the ISSA, see past the price tag and look into the beneficial side- I think you are going to love it!

I have been purchasing Foreo products since 2016. For the last couple of years my experiences with their toothbrushes has been worsening, they ALWAYS stop working at the 2 years mark, or for some reason when I take flights, funny enough the problem is always the batteries.
Years back, The Foreo customer service team would try to help, but for the last year they have come up with new policies to leave costumers hanging out dry, despite this product being advertised as long lasting. Do not spend your money on these toothbrushes, if you are unlucky enough for them to stop working after the 2 years mark, you will be left with an almost $200 toothbrush that you can do nothing with.
